10:30 am – Merge conservation and production along your stream banks.  Tour a native, edible agroforestry demonstration planting and learn about the environmental & economic benefits.

12:00 pm – Did you know you can grow veggies in winter?  Kathy O’Hara of Greens to Go invites you on a tour of her hoop house, where she raises greens for individuals and businesses throughout the Roanoke Valley.

1:30 pm - Did you know some grasses can be used for feed and energy production, as well as offer benefits to wildlife and water quality?  Tour the native warm season grass field and learn about the research behind the demonstration.
